Mommy says thats a long ways away.
Grandma says they grow oranges there.

Well, I got to go to bed now.
Daddy's going to read my favourite book!
Half way through....[Mom calls: "Shan! Brush your teeth!"]
I have to go. Bye bye! Goodnight.
[The night passes and morning comes]
[Mom calls: "Shan, wake up! Grandma is here!"]
GRANDMA!!!!!
[Shan runs down the stairs to the living room]
[its empty]
Wheres grandma??
[Shan started to cry]
[Her mom comes in]
Mommy, wheres grandma? You said she was here!
[Mom: "Its 6:00 in the morning. What are you doing up this early?" *yawns*]
Wheres grandma?
[Mom: "Grandma's not here yet. She doesn't come until tomorrow."]
[Mom picks her up and brings her up to bed]
[Mom: "You need some sleep. I don't want you to be tired today. You're a bum when you're tired."]

I can't fall asleep
[10 minutes pass]

[Shan's grandma calls from the living room]
[Grandma: " Shan, I'm here!"]
GRANDMA!!!!!!!!!!!
[Shan throws off her cover and runs off to the living room again]
[She sees her grandma sitting on the couch with a smile on her face]
[Grandma: "Shan, my sunshine..."]
GRANDMA![She hugs her]
[Grandama: "Oh sunshine. Is that the tightest hug you have?"]
[Grandma: "Show me a bear hug."]
Shan hugs her really tightly.
[Grandama: "Now you have to get some sleep. Mommy doesn't want you be a bum in the morning.]

She wakes up at 9:00 in her bed
Grandma must have carried me to bed last night.
She's the bestest grandma ever!

[She goes down to the kitchen where she finds her mom crying]
Did daddy lose his job again?
[Her mom looks at her and nods her head back and forth slowly and forces a smile]
[Mom: "Ran*coughs*.... Grandma will not be coming this Christmas."

Ooh! Whats this place called? I want to go too!
Grandma's in heaven. Flying around with beautiful angels of all types...Where everyone's kind and nobody's fight.
Grandma's dead?!
[Mom: "No. She will always be alive in our hearts."]
But she's here! She took me to bed!
She can't be here.... She went to heaven at 6:10am.
But.... She's here :(
